Student Council

At The PRIDE Academy we have a School Council that regularly meets to discuss issues and important topics at the school. Each year there are a number of students who are nominated to represent the school and input into the meetings and their agendas. Staff will listen to the students’ views and take note of their recommendations to help improve the school.

Through the School Council students have been able to input into opening times of the tuck shop, extra points schemes, posters displayed around the school, non-uniform days to raise money for charity and the size of food portions at lunch.
